Breaking: Edo Assembly Speaker impeached

GISTSMARK.COM - BENIN — Political pressure uplifted in Edo State, yesterday, as 19 members from the state House of Assembly evacuated the Speaker of the House, Mr Justin Okonoboh; his delegate, Mrs Elizabeth Atvie and Majority Leader, Folly Ogedengbe, over affirmed manhandle of office. 

The lawmakers blamed the Speaker for unlawful honor of agreements and overbearing. 

The lawmakers , therefore, chose the previous Chief Whip of the House, Mr Kabiru Adjoto, speaking to Akoko Edo supporters 1, as the new Speaker, Victor Edoror (Esan Central) was chosen Deputy Speaker and Rolland Asoro (Orhiomwon South), Majority Leader. 

With the advancement, the political tripod of the state has changed as Edo North now has the Speaker; Central locale, representative while Edo South, where Governor Obaseki hails from, now has the Majority Leader position.

Presently, we went for occasions for three weeks since his child moved on from Covenant University and he needed to be there and celebrate with the child. 

"Furthermore, we are 24 individuals in the Edo State House of Assembly.
