Man kills 18-month old girl, says she a witch


A 32-year-old man, Robinson Omeje, who killed his 18-month-old girl, Esther Robinson, in light of the fact that a voice tended to him that she was a witch, was, yesterday, charged in a Makurdi officer's court. The request of the litigant was not taken, as the court did not have the purview to engage the matter. The officer, Mrs Theresa Wergba, requested that the charged be remanded in jail's authority and dismissed the case until August 2, for further specify The prosecutor, Inspector Adole Oluwa, told the court that the case was accounted for at the "E" Police Division, Makurdi, by one Doom Robinson of New Street, Joseph Catholic Church, Akpehe Makurdi on May 18. As indicated by Oluwa, Doom expressed that she returned from her shop and discovered her little girl's dormant body inside an elastic can at their home.
