EFCC's fifth observer in Orji Kalu's trial closes evidence

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, fifth witness, Toyosi Ekorhi, in the on-going trial of a previous legislative head of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and two others over claimed extortion under the steady gaze of a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has finished up her proof. The case is before Justice Mohammed Idris. In closing her confirmations at the hearing in the matter, yesterday, the witness, while being interviewed by legal counselor to Slok Nigeria Ltd, K. C. Nwofo, SAN, said she was not the creator of the reports offered as displays by the indictment. In her examination-in-boss, Toyosi, who is a consistence officer at First City Monument Bank, FCMB, told the court that the bank sent everything concerning the record status of Slok Nigeria Ltd to the EFCC in light of an enquiry over same from the counter join organization, around two months prior. The witness included that the reports were recovered from the files of the ancient Inland Bank Plc., yet she had no learning of its substance since she never worked at Inland Bank.
