Jay Z and Blue Ivy Rep Hard With Daddy-Daughter Baseball Caps

There comes a day in every little New Yorker’s life when he or she is bequeathed a sartorial birthright: a fitted snapback baseball hat. Receiving the cap, embroidered with the iconography of his or her home team (Yankees! Mets! Giants!), is a style right of passage that tells of a citywide civic pride. But when you’re Blue Ivy Carter and your parents happen to be Beyoncé and Jay Z, that calls for a different take on a classic, namely, family pride first. A bubblegum pink cap (like those from Formation World Tour, her mother’s concert series, which had its final show last Friday) fit the bill: The stylish 4-year-old wore it cocked to one side yesterday while out to eat with her father.
