Kwara Gov, Lagos AG, others for NAJUC lecture

Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State and Lagos Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem will today grace the 2015 annual lecture of the National Association of Judiciary Correspondents (NAJUC), Ikeja Branch.
Besides, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, former Lagos State Chief Judge, Justice Ayotunde Phillips and former Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Monday Ubani, were to be honoured with the Oustanding Leadership award at the event.
In a statement jointly signed by the chairman of NAJUC, Mr. Akinwale Akintunde and chairman, NAJUC 2015 Annual Lecture Committee, Henry Ojelu, the event will take place at the Osun Hall of the Airport Hotel, Ikeja.
The annual lecture with the theme; ‘Effective Justice System as Panacea for Change,’will have Lagos State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Olufunmilayo Atilade as Chief Host.
Akin Oyebode, a Professor of International Law, University of Lagos will serve as the Keynote Speaker while Chief Layi Babatunde (SAN) will chair the event.
Executive Director, Socio-Economic Right and Accountability Project (SERAP) Mumuni Adetokunbo; Executive Director, Access to Justice, Joseph Otteh; Commmissioner of Police (Legal), Force Headquarters, Abuja, A.C.P David Ighodo and former member, House of Representatives, Mr. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) will as discussants at the occasion.
